Paul Eisler is Senior Director of Cybersecurity at
USTelecom – the Broadband Association, Cybersecurity Co-chair of the
U.S. Communications Sector Coordinating Council, and Secretariat Member of the
Council to Secure the Digital Economy (CSDE). As an attorney licensed in D.C. and Maryland, he has represented domestic and global technology leaders for more than a decade.
Paul is the principal editor of numerous CSDE reports that aim to harmonize global policy and security best practices, including the
International Botnet and IoT Security Guide, updated annually and recognized among the world’s most significant
cybersecurity agreements; the
IoT Security Policy Principles, endorsed by 27 leading ICT organizations to inform policymakers about constructive approaches to legislation and regulations; and
Cyber Crisis: Foundations of Multi-Stakeholder Coordination, which received praise from CISA for identifying incident response capabilities in 12 high-stakes scenarios involving national security and public safety.
Paul received his law degree with honors from American University Washington College of Law, where he served on the American University Law Review and, at age 20, was distinguished as the law school’s youngest J.D. candidate. He also worked for his alma mater as Legal Research Fellow, concentrating on economic policies of the European Union.
